Celebrating Achievements and Gratitude: A Year in Review with the Lord Mayor of Cardiff

What an incredible year it has been! We are beyond honoured to have been the nominated charity for the Lord Mayor of Cardiff, Cllr Bablin Molik, for 2023/24. Our deepest gratitude goes out to the Lord Mayor for her unwavering generosity and passion for UCAN and our mission. Thank you to everyone who attended our events and helped us fundraise—your support means the world to us and will significantly impact our efforts to enhance the physical and vocal confidence of young blind and vision-impaired individuals.

A Night to Remember: The December Concert

Our December concert was a spectacular celebration of the incredible talents within our community and a heartfelt tribute to Cllr Bablin Molik. We were thrilled to showcase performances by our talented members, including Samiya's stunning performance of 'My Cloud,' Brody and Ethan's unforgettable rendition of 'Jelly Bean,' and Alleah's captivating delivery of 'Daydream.' each leaving a lasting impression on everyone present. A huge thank you to Alex Wharton Children’s Laureate Wales who supported our young people to deliver his words!
