UCAN PERFORM 2011

Performance Festival for Visually Impaired Young People and their Friends
Date: Wednesday 20 July 2011
Venue: Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bay
Time:   11.00am – 4.00pm

Come and join us at The Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bay for a day of fun, learn new skills, and make new friends

Drama
Body Percussion
Radio Plays
Sound Recording
Activities for under 7’s
Dance and Movement

UCAN Members will be performing to the public on the Glanfa Stage throughout the day.

With thanks to Legal & General and Arts & Kids, the festival programme is free and all activities are designed for visually impaired young people.  No experience necessary. Professionals, teachers, family and friends are welcome to attend.  Allocation of places will be on a first served basis.

You do not need any drama experience to become a UCAN Member

Our ethos is one of pure encouragement and fun

Parents, family, carers and teachers are all welcome to attend and observe our workshops and performances

We have lots of volunteering opportunities

UCAN has a robust child protection policy.  All traners and volunteers possess CRB police checks

Risk assessments are undertaken at all venues

We are based in Wales but will work anywhere in the UK where there is a demand
